About Marsha

Marsha Shackelford believes yoga is for everybody and every body and created Rawr Yoga to help make the healing arts accessible and relatable to all humans, with an emphasis on BIPOC. Yoga is more than asana or hatha yoga, the physical postures most often associated with the practice of yoga. Yoga also includes pranayama breathing and meditation, practical mind/body recipes that when practiced help calm our often overactive nervous systems. 


As a yoga practitioner, educator and healing guide she shares meditation, pranayama and intuitive practices designed to empower her clients with practical tools to release tension in their mind and body in order to connect with their authentic power and find their own unique flow.


Marsha is a yoga teacher (EYT), pranayama, meditation and healing guide. She leads workshops and retreats both nationally and internationally.


Marsha resides in Atlanta, GA with her 2 energetic young sons.

Marsha is a sweet and gentle spirit. I felt totally relaxed during our session and rejuvenated after. I'm excited to have another one soon!!
